After introducing paid video placement on the search engine results page (SERP) 2 years ago with the introduction of the Video Plus Box (now known as Video Extensions), Google has released a new video format, Media Ads. Media Ads is a giant step forward for Google in several aspects as it uses a completely new ad format, new pricing model, and new targeting functionality.
It all started before I went to uni, I would start an account, mess about with some of the tools like Google Analytics and then forget about it. A year later I would come back and have a different email address so I would merrily sign up again. Then when it came to uni I was trying different sites, different ideas and a few things that I thought at the time would be “the next big thing”.
