We could use this page to tell clients all about how corporate branding sets them apart from competitors, uniquely encapsulates a company’s services and ethos and cements a solid, trustworthy relationship with both new and existing client bases and so on…
But to be honest there’s no point. Everyone knows this already; the importance of brand, of image, of identity and not because we read it online or in an article, but instinctively, intuitively and on level we don’t even need to question – we are only human after all.
Fact - it’s human nature to assess somebody / something within 7 seconds of being presented with a situation.
The science bit
It’s a basic, primordial gift that lets us process thousands of pieces of circumstantial and retained information in an instant, make simple associative connections and an appraisal based on that knowledge.
This is ultimately why corporate branding is so incredibly powerful; it’s accessing a neurological part of the brain far more complex than any computer and appealing to it, tapping into familiarly and positive associations.
